I love working with people!

Whether its small children or pensioners I love to tell stories through my imagery. Its always a pleasure working with the many people I meet through the BHF and they all have very powerful stories to tell. Getting those stories across to the viewer is a challenge I relish.

My aim is to work on captured moments where possible, setting up a scene and letting it run, documenting as I go to create believable candid images.

Have a look at some of the sample BHF shots below. For a separate  portraiture case study click here

A bit of everything really.  I started off with the BHF working on portraits for case studies which took me all around the country working with people who had a heart condition. This included many shoots with kids, which is a bit of a speciality of mine, along with lifestyle work of people of all ages.

At the same time I started covering various events such as the London to Brighton bike ride, teen heart group events, photo calls with celebrities and shots of MP’s at the house of commons. I’ve also shot heart support groups in lots of locations, from village halls to hospitals.

More recently I have worked on advertising for the The Weekly Flutter which involves working closely with the BHF and their advertising agencies to produce a series of ads for social media, web and print.

First of all I offer a BHF discount of 20% across the whole range of services.

I work on a daily rate which is very competitive and if you have a budget to work to I’ll happily tailor a shoot around it.

To get a quick price, send me a message or give me a call and we can discuss the details of your shoot to provide you with a break down of the costs involved.

Yes I can!

Increasingly I am asked if I can shoot stills and video combined. This saves on the costs of shooting twice or getting an extra film crew at the same time as your shoot. A cost effective way of covering both media requirements.

I shoot alone or with a crew, depending on the size of the shoot, to allow me to cover small events to large promotional productions and everything in between.

I am proud to have worked with:

Alzheimers research UK, British Medical Association, Metropolitan Housing, Royal Air Forces Association, British Lung Foundation, England Athletics, National No Smoking Day, BHF, Peabody and Family Mosaic housing trusts.

Why choose us?

Film and stills

Want some moving image too? We will provide you with film and stills at the same shoot. Great for saving the budget and gives continuity across web and social media platforms.

Easy to work with

I like to have fun and work with a smile. My clients consider me a partner when it comes to pre planning and throughout the production of a shoot. I aim to put people at ease to get the best shots and this works with my clients too. If there is a cheerful environment to work in people give their best.

Years of experience

Over 20 years of photographic experience working with clients in the commercial industry means I can adapt to to any creative challenges the shoot may bring.

I've worked with Pete on many productions, most recently on my shoots as DOP for the celebrity M&S taste testing series. Pete has the ability to get all the shots he needs while keeping out of the way of the production. He often manages to shoot those split second moments during filming that capture the essence of the shoot and look great alongside the final edit. On top of that he always mucks in to help the production. Highly recommended, you will be pleased you have him as part of the crew.
